A Momo-licious Dinner with Friends

Momo Cafe is located at Ayala Triangle Gardens along Ayala Avenue, this restaurant is just one cart-wheel away from my office and this is my second time to dine here. I must say that this resto never fails to satisfy my taste buds. Two weeks ago my husband, Cj and my friend, Jim celebrated their birthday here. Actually, my husband’s birthday was last September, if you’re an avid reader of this blog I bet you read my post about Cj’s birthday treat at Esprimere Italian Deli in Ortigas. While on the other hand, Jim’s birthday was last April pa, so this is definitely a super kaduper post birthday treat from them. Oh well, it’s better than never, right?!

Moving on with the cafe, I’ve read lots of rave reviews about Momo Cafe and I must admit that I totally agree with them. I love the modern interior and cozy ambiance of the whole place that attracts people to dine here. I like the details of their furniture that really shows how they spend time decorating it, not to mention the delicious foods that they serve. To sum it up Momo Cafe is definitely eye candy.

We arrived at 7pm-ish and waited for about 30minutes since the place was jam pack. My son definitely loves grasses and tree’s, so while waiting I let him ran around the park.

I Got A Leibster Award!

Woo Hoo! I got an award! It’s the Leibster award! Who doesn’t love an award or recognition?! I guess everyone loves to be recognize and to be rememberer, right? Lunch Date with Mars and Maqui!

Yesterday was indeed a special day for me because I had an instant lunch date with my fellow pretty mom blogger’s, Mars and Maqui! Maqui left a comment in my previous post and told me that she will be working in Makati yesterday, and she asked me if we can meet, walang keme-keme gorabels agad ang lola ninyo! Since Mars’ office is one kembot away from my office we asked her to join too. And so our instant lunch date began. I was so giddy and hyperventilating for this lunch date because it was my first time to meet these gorgeous momma’s! Gosh!!

Mars is the mom blogger behind Planet Marsy while Maqui is the mom blogger behind Familia Kiki, like me they also share their momventures, I bet you knew them already. I must say they we’re both pretty(naman!), very accomodating, very motherly, kindhearted, and fun to be with! There is no dull moment with these ladies and it feels like I have known them for so long maybe because I always read their blog. Parang long lost friend lang ang drama ko when I saw them yesterday. I can’t help but to make daldal the entire time, it was bitin though. Dibale bawi tau sa Christmas Party natin!

20121024-173746.jpg Here’s my fellow pretty momma’s, Maqui and Mars!

I brought them at Chilli Peppers along Valero here in Makati since our office’s are located in Paseo. They serve affordable and really good meals here in Chilli Peppers. They usually serve Filipino cuisine or lutong bahay here, so we ordered beef rice (good for 2-3 persons), 2 laing, and pork with mushroom (I forgot the name of this dish). And we only pay Php400 pesos. Their laing is a must try because it was delectable delish! We we’re so busy catching up that I forgot to take photos of the food. Anyhoo, kung madami kang gutom this is the perfect place for you, believe me!

This is the only thing that we left behind. Partida busy pa kami nyan kaka-chika! Let the picture do the talking.

20121024-173133.jpg Errrr.. di kami gutom ah! :p

It’s just sad because our time is very limited, if only we have all the time in the world.. for sure magchi-chikahan kami ng bonggang bongga! We shared our stories about motherhood, parenting style, dilemma’s as a working mom, we even talked about about our dearest pedia Doc Vienne Saulog (di pwdeng mawala yan sa kwentuhan! LOL), work, and even love life! Even for a short period of time we we’re able to talked about almost everything, I guess most Mom’s are really good when it comes to time management. Agree, mudrabels? Before we part ways nag photo shoot muna kami, of course! LOL

20121024-173721.jpg I feel so old in this photo that’s why I decided to remove my eye glasses. Muka akong Lola ni Mars at Maqui dito! LOL

20121024-174229.jpg And when I removed my eye glasses I didn’t notice na sablay na pala ang kuha ko, naputol ang face ni Maqui, oops! Sorry, blame my poor eyesight!

My gulay! I really had a great time! I didn’t realized that meeting my fellow mom blogger’s would be so much fun! It was nice bumping into you, Mars and Maqui! Till our next lunch date and grand play date! I can’t wait for it! Ayan na-excite nanaman ako! Teehee! 🙂

Attention: Calling all mom bloggers out there! We are planning to have a “Mom Bloggers Christmas Party” on November 30,2012. If you’re interested please feel free to join, we will be posting more of the details soon! So watch out for that! Don’t be shy, please come and join us! Everyone is welcome! 🙂

KMS Cooks: Gising-gising Ala Kikay Mommy Sha

I’ve always wanted and dreamed to cook this dish and I’m glad to say that finally it has been push through, medyo sablay nga lang pero keribels na! I’ve been craving for gising-gising ever since I have tasted it at ABE Restaurant in Trinoma. It was really heaven! This dish is indeed economical, and if you’re a frugalicious momma (which I am trying to be) this is the perfect dish for you! And if you’re Bicolana (like me!) this is definitely a big hit for you! Dishes that combine coconut milk and chili’s traditionally originate from the Bicol Region but boy oh boy I was wrong because this is a Capampangan dish but is relatively similar to Bicol express. It is made up of pork, shrimp, or fish cooked in coconut milk. Most people use shrimp paste or bagoong in this dish but I didn’t add it anymore since I’m using shrimp already. I wanted to cut cholesterol because shrimp is really high in cholesterol. Ayoko naman ma-highblood lahat ng kakain ng niluto ko! Hehe

Here’s watchunid baby!

KMS Cooks: Cheese Quesadilla Ala Kikay Mommy Sha

Are you tired of serving and eating the usual/common food?! I do, really really do! That’s why every time I cook I try not to cook the usual thing, I love jazzin’ up my dishes and I love how it turns out! So ladies, gays, and gentlemen worry no more because I’ve got something special for you, it’s a simple yet delicioso dish! Yes it is! This is a classic Mexican simple dish that you can have in no time , sounds great right?! This is one of my favorite food whenever I go to Army Navy, Taco Bell, and Mexicali. Can you guess what it is?! Oh yeah, it’s written on the title above– Cheese Quesadilla, that is. Aw!

Alright, so let’s start with ingredients! Here’s watchunid baby!

Cheddar cheese
mozzarella cheese

What’s Up?! What’s up?!

Hi guys! How’s your weekend?! Hope you had a great one! I haven’t posted anything since my last post (that was four days ago), so I would like to give you a quick update with me and my family. We had a very tiring but tremendously wonderful weekend! We went to our dear friend’s house blessing last Saturday at Cavite and yesterday we just stayed at home. Our trip to Cavite last Saturday was really great, we we’re able to catched up with Cj’s former office mates, it was like a mini-reunion because it’s been a long time since we saw each other. Cyler gained more friends, and you know what’s funny? All kids called him baby because he is the youngest kid there. I’ll make a different post about that because it deserves to be remember, for the mean time here’s the photos that I posted in IG. If you’re following me on IG I’m pretty sure you know where am I and what I’m doing that day. Hehe

Cam whoring while on our way to Cavite!

Pati table cloth walang ligtas! Hehe

Spell F-U-N!

Family picture, of course! Kailangan anak nakahatak sa bling-bling ni Mommy?!

Playing with the other kids! Puro girls nga lang! Teehee!

Yesterday, I’ve done a lot of cooking and had a non-stop playtime with Cyler. Eat, sleep, and play– that’s what we did yesterday. I’m too busy with my toddler that’s why I wasn’t able to make a blog post. It was really tiring but self fulfilling, yes indeed. And you know what makes me really happy? I made two dishes yesterday, one Filipino cuisine and the other one is Mexican cuisine (naks! Parang tunay!). This dish is so easy to cook and to prepare, di man lang ako pinagpawisan ng konti… pawis na pawis na pawis lang! LOL! Here’s the photos that I posted in IG yesterday, don’t worry I’ll make a different post for the recipe, so watch out for that!

Cyler wore his jumper for the very first time! And I found it really cute! This jumper was a birthday gift to him, I almost forgot that he had this jumper buti nalang talaga I saw it bago pa nya mapag liitan, sayang naman. Daba?

Cheese quesadilla in the house! Marimar..aw!

Finaly I was able to cook gising gising! It was a semi-fail gising gising though. You know why?… Just wait for my post about this dish! Hahaha!

Ok kaba tyan? Everyday OK!

So there you go, this is just a glimpse of our weekend! I’ve got so many things to share but so little time to blog out. If I only have all the time in the world! But I’ll try to do it tonight… so help me God. And oh btw, I’m sooo excited and looking forward for the long weekend (because we have an out of town trip together with our friends) and for Cyler’s first ever trick or treat this coming Thursday at his Daddy’s office!!!!! Gosh! I’m so eggcited for him and I just can’t hide it! I wish it’s Thursday already. Hehe

How about you? What did you do last weekend? Share it with me, I’m glad to hear from you!

And oh don’t forget to start your day with a prayer! Have a blessed and happy weekdays everyone! 🙂

A Sweet Surprise From My Boys!

Don’t you just love surprises?! I definitely love it and I bet everyone else loves it too! Sino ba namang hindi, diba?! Naman! Yesterday, my boys surprised Mom-me! It was morning then when I saw something different inside my bag, it wasn’t fishy but it catched my whole attention because I know this thing doesn’t belong to me. And guess what, I found out that my bag was played by someone else when I am not around. And I bet you all know who is the culprit…. yes, it’s my toddler.

Cyler: Mommy guess what?! I have a surprise for you!

Mommy: You do? What could it be?!

Look closely inside my bag, can you guess what it is?!

He left his….. drumstick on Mommy’s bag! Such a silly and sweet little boy! Oh what joy! Can you feel how surprised I was?! Abot langit!

I bet the reason why he left it in my bag is because he wants Mommy to remember him all the time. Sweetie, your always in my mind and in my heart every seconds of my life, no matter what I’m doing and wherever I go your the only one that I could think of. That’s how I love you, sweetheart.

But the question is… Anong gagawin ni Mommy sa drumstick?! Next time anak ilagay mo na din ung drum para magamit ko naman yung drumstick. Sayang effort mo eh. LOL

And oh but wait there’s more! Daddy has a surprise for Mommy too! Di ata magpapahuli si Daddy!

The hubby gave me a VS Body Mist. He gave it to me yesterday morning before we go to work, and I was really surprised because he gave it to me out
of the blue. It seldom happens that’s why I feel glad, happy and was really surprised kasi nuknukan ng kuripot yang asawa ko! As in! But then he knew that I love perfumes and body mist so much that’s why he gave me one although I still have lots of perfumes stock in our cabinet. I really thought that he was just joking around and making fun of me(because he always bully me!) but I am wrong. From that moment I felt like I have butterflies on my tummy, lakas maka highschool ng feeling, kinilig ako ng bonggang bongga! I hugged him tight and whisper… “Nagdidiliryo kaba, Hon?”. Hehe

Pero napaisip ako bigla.. baka ang baho ko kaya nya ko binigyan ng pabango! LOL!

I know, I know these are just material things but it was extra-bonggels and special for me because it came from my boys, my true love, my family. My life. My joy. My happiness. My heart. My everything. And nothing really beat that! Thank you guys for surprising Mom-me! I really appreciate it! Oh how I love you so!!!!! *group hug*

P.S Thank you Lord for bringing joy into my life. And thank you for giving me a wonderful and happy family. My very loving husband, Cj and our happy active baby, Cyler is too much blessing and I could not ask for more. I O U a lot! Thanks again!

My Toddler’s Little Dream

All people have hopes and dreams in life– black or white, rich or poor, with or without teeth, all have the same drive and desire to live life in the best way they see possible. When I was a little kid I dreamed to be a….. Nun! Hey wait! Don’t laugh, it may sound funny but hey no kidding! I really wanna be a nun, you know why? Kasi when I was in grade 1 we had catechism once a week and our catechist was a Nun, her name is sister Teresa. I admire her a lot because she’s so kindhearted and very approachable. I gave her a bookmark for her bible, I gave it to her on our last day of catechism, from then I told myself that I want to be like her. Ayun, hindi natupad! Hahaha! What do you expect?! LOL! Pag nagkataon ako lang ang kikay sa kumbento! Paktay na! Haha! But I’m still glad even if it didn’t happen because God gave me the greatest job on earth, which of course being a mom to my cutie patootie, Cyler. 🙂

And speaking of my son, Cyler has his own dream too. I know he has, I can see it and I can feel it.

You can also see it just by looking at these photos.

1. Balot Vendor

Balooot! Bili na kayo ng baloot!

Balot o penoy?! 😛

2. Mr. Postman

Our camera bag turned into a messenger bag!

F na F ng bagets ang camera-slash-messenger bag diba?! 🙂

Poor Little ToothBrush

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe that these things are happening to us, I mean to my toddler. I only see this kind of scenario with my fellow mom bloggers but now it’s happening to my own child. Graaabee! Fellow momma’s, please don’t let your toddler brush their teeth by themselves and please supervise them (always) while they brushing their teeth BECAUSE….

they might end up brushing the floor or the wall instead. Yikes! Now this is what happened to Cyler’s toothbrush after he brushed the floor, the wall, and the fan using this.. yes only this.. poor little toothbrush. 😛

Luminis nga ang floor at ang wall.. dumumi naman ang toothbrush! Wenk! Ang sipag talaga ng anak ko pati kwarto namin nilinis! LOL!

Cyler loves brushing his teeth a lot, that’s why most of the time I let him brush his teeth on his own (after I brush it) but I didn’t expect that he will use this toothbrush the other way around. Geez! Very good, anak! LOL!

Lesson learned: Do not leave your toddler unattended (to the Nth time!).

Happy Weekend!

Hello guys! How’s your week?! Me, I had a wonderful but very hectic week (whew!) but good thing I’m still alive and kickin’! My gulay! I’ve got so many things to do today, I’m done cleaning our messy room and I also cleaned Cyler’s bunch of toys. But we we’re going to Makati later today because we have a dinner date with our good friends and we need to have our weekly grocery. We will take Cyler with us, of course. I bet we will going to have a great weekend (as always!) and I hope everyone will have a great weekend too!

Anyhoo, if you’re planning to go out today. I suggest some places I have been to. You can try Bulgogi Brothers at Greenbelt 5 if you want to try an authentic Korean Dish. And speaking of Korean you can also try Melona Korean ice cream in this hot saturday. You can also bring your chikitings at Imagine That Play Space Center at Salcedo Makati. At Imagine That they will gives plenty of opportunity for your kids to involve themselves in imaginative play. If you want to have a breakfast buffet with your family tomorrow morning you can try Heaven and Eggs at Glorrieta 4. Heaven and Eggs’ buffet breakfast is available from 7am to 1pm , buffet is at P399++. But if you want to go in a relatively unpopulated place you can go at Bonifacio High Street at Taguig. You can dine at Brother’s Burger if you’re craving for juicy beef patty and if your on tipid-mode!

If you’re from north, you can try ABE Restaurant, they’ve got the best gising-gising ever! Ask your family to have a sumptuous dinner there! If you want an authentic Italian dish you can try Esprimere Italian Deli at Ortigas. Esprimere Italian Deli is the perfect pit stop for those days when you want some good authentic Italian deli. What is so terrific about Esprimere is that they make quality affordable. But if you want a quick escape from the polluted air of the metro you can bring your family at Amana Waterpark Resort in Bulacan. It’ s just one hour drive from Manila, Amana Waterpark Resort is almost a 7 hectares of developed leisure resort surrounded by a wide green of farmland, which makes it more a breathing place of fresh air of nature surrounding the place. The resort claim to be the biggest area of wave pool in Bulacan with 3,500 square meter of wave pool area and showcase 13 type of wave with the newest wave technology that came from Canada and Germany.

But if you opt to stay at home, you can try my different pasta dishes: Spanish Sardines Pasta , German Franks Pasta,  and Eggplant Parmigiana. You can also try my quick recipes: Mozarella Cheesesticks, and Cream of Corn Soup. If you’re on the mood to bake you can try my family’s very own Carrot Cake Recipe,  this is delectable delish and very healthy!

And there you go! This is just a quick and short weekend guide for you and your family!

May we all have a happy and blessed weekend!! 🙂

Spending Me Time In God’s Presence

I love spending me-time at the spa because I love the feeling of getting pampered after a long stressful day at work. I also love spending it with my good old friends or with hubby but this time it was a bit different, I didn’t spend any penny here, all I did was to give my little time with Him. Last night, I spent my me time with God. It’s been a long time since we have a heart-to-heart talk and I really miss it. I was very active then in our Church when I was younger, I love attending prayer meetings and bible studies and that is what I really miss the most. I feel like there is something lacking in my life and I guess that’s my spiritual needs. Making time for God is hard sometimes when there is so much to do but I guess spending time with God is the most basic thing we need in order to grow. You know what? Sometimes I feel guilty because I didn’t notice that God is working in my life and that he is there especially in times of pain and trouble. There are times when I forgot to pray because my mind is preoccupied of so many things and I came to the point where in I forgot to ask for His forgiveness and forgot to give thanks. And so last night, I decided to be with Him even for a little time. I know this little time with Him will make a big difference.

I realize that aside from physical and mental needs we also have spiritual needs. My soul was rejuvenated after hearing the words of God and from that everything follows– my mind and my body. It’s like I’m having spa for my soul, and its like a refreshing breeze on a hot summer day. I feel more relaxed and at peace after attending the mass and hearing the words of God. It made me realize that every life is beautiful and wonderful as long as God is the center of your life. I know sometimes life is not always what we want it to be but as long as your faith in God is there you will never feel the emptiness inside of you.

Photo taken at Greenbelt Chapel

After having a soul spa, my soul was indeed restore, my heart was filled with so much joy, and my mind is renewed. Truly, God is working in our life, just open your heart and mind, and you will see it. I’m no saint, not at all but I’m sharing this because I know some of you may feel the same way I do. Many times, we feel that there isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done. Time, something we wish we had more of, but it just seems to slip so quickly. I guess all we need is to assess our priorities and put God first in everything we do, a little prayer in the morning and before bedtime will make a big difference. Just always remember this bible verse:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-38

Now the question is how can we do this? I believe the most important way of doing this is remembering this bible verse and loving God with all heart, by doing these simple things everything will follow according to God’s will. Me time is the perfect time to give glory to the Lord. And I just had the perfect time of my life last night, it was indeed a wonderful time with God. Keep praying and don’t get tired of waiting for the answer, God is preparing something really good for you and he will give it to you in God’s perfect time. I guess God answered my prayers because I already received the greatest gift from Him– which of course my family! I grew up in a broken family but I never lose hope until he gave Cj and Cyler to me. They are the most precious gift that I received from God. So, let’s keep our faith in Him and be patience because He has a better plan for all of us. 🙂

How about you? When was the last time you spend time with Him? Share it with me! I’d love to hear from you!

Happy Weekend everyone! 🙂

Tulli Shapes

…is Cyler’s newly discovered iPhone Application now. Actually, matagal na yang nasa phone ko ngayon lang niya na-appreciate. This game and it’s character, Tulli is part of BabyTV channel. It’s a kind of app that is good for toddlers because it’s a simple fun game that allows your child to practice recognizing and identifying the picture (the ‘whole’) and the parts (shapes).

He started playing and appreciating this app last week, surprisingly he memorized the narrator’s line already. The narrator would always say “yes!” or “wow!” every time you tap the shapes and put the picture back together. Cyler automatically says “yes!” and “wow!” once he hears the narrator’s line. This boy has a great memory and never fails to amuze us, buti nalang talaga hindi nagmana kay Mommy ang memory kundi kawawa ang bagets. Hehe

Here’s a proof how Cyler fancy this app:

Hypnotized lang ang bagets diba?! Bawal kumurap! Ang kumurap may…eyelashes! Anong konek?! Bahala na kaung mag konek! LOL!

He also learned how to say “truck” and “duck” because of this app. Now how good is that?! Really good! 🙂

He giggles and laugh (to the fullest) every time he play this app. Talaga namang wagas ang kaligayahan!

Look how he used his pointing finger in playing this app, I guess his fine motor skills are getting better and better nowadays. Good job, sweetie boom boom! (Ansabee?!)

Here’s Cyler while saying the word “yes” and “wow” in front of the camera.

Pag pasensyahan nio na po camera shy talaga yang anak ko… hindi lang halata. LOL!

With the help of adorable Tulli and the instructions of the narrator Cyler learned how to recognize objects from our environment and helped him develop his speech as well. Well done, Tulli!

To all my fellow momma’s out there you can download this app at App Store anytime, anywhere, and here’s the good news— this app is for freeeeeee!! Now beat that! 🙂

KMS Cooks: Chinese Stir Fried Chicken and Eggplant

These past two weekends we didn’t do our usual thing which is leaving the house and going somewhere else, we chose to stay at home and just have fun with our little shaolin, Cyler. Talaga namang F na F ko ang pagiging housewife-slash-mommy-slash-cook-slash-yaya (lahat na!) ko these weekends and I’m loving it! One of the things that I really enjoyed the most is being with my boys (of course) but this time it was a bit different because I focused more on them. The hubby and I had more cuddle time (and flirting time? LOL) and we had a perfect quality time with one another, and that’s what I really miss the most because it seldom happens. It was nothing spectacular but it was wonderful. Time together– nothing beat that! Sometimes it’s really difficult to have a quality time with your partner especially when the kid is around because you we’re both busy playing your role and giving attention to your child. But thank God for this opportunities and for creating weekends! I can’t imagine life without weekends.

Moving on with my recipe, I mentioned from my previous post last week that I wanted to cook gising-gising but I wasn’t able to due to lack of time, surprisingly today I asked my BIL if I can cook for our dinner and he allowed me to do the cooking and so I came across with this dish. I’ve seen this recipe at Hunts Facebook Page and it is indeed mouth-watering, so I give it a try since the recipe is so easy to prepare and to cook. This dish is a bit different from my previous dishes because it’s not a pasta dish although I used Hunts Spaghetti sauce here. This dish will really jazz up your ordinary fried chicken dish.

Alright, so here’s watchunid momma’s and papa’s!

All I Want For Christmas

..are these! Since Christmas is just around the corner I’ll posting my top 5 picks I’m lusting over this holiday season.

1. iPhone5

I’ve been using my iPhone4 (take note it’s just an iPhone4 not iPhone4s) for two years now and my contract with my provider is about to end soon, but I was planning to get another phone from them which is iPhone5. I just hope they will prioritize my request because we’ve been loyal to them for four years now, although their signal now are hi and lo, hope you get my drift. Anyhoo, I really want this smart phone because it was proven and tested by me. I have everything in this phone– I can check my emails, social sites, blog in, blog out, capture unforgettable moments when my camera is not around, it’s Cyler’s boredom savior, of course I can call and text here, yadah-yadah!

2. Room Makeover!

Our room is such a big mess, everything are not in place and it doesn’t even have wall paint at all. Oh well, that’s the main problem when you leave with your in-laws, you can’t do whatever you wanna do to your room because it’s not yours. *sigh* Anyhoo, I really want to add up some color and life in our room because that’s the only place where we have our own privacy. Below are the colors that I want to try but still undecided, maybe you can help me choose. I want something bright and looks really homey.

3. A pair of Boots

Shoes are my weakness, blame my sassy-ness! I admit I’m a sucker for them! Oh my, I hate that I love shoes! But don’t get me wrong, I only buy shoes when it’s affordable and on sale, aside from that I’m still a girl, hindi lang talaga halata. I only buy shoes three to four times a year, yun nga lang isang bagsakan– mga 5pairs sa isang bilihan! LOL! Pero sale yun, ok?! 😛 #DefensiveMuch

Aldo’s Kibel Boots

Kibel, keribels ba kita?! 😛

Aldo’s Brotzman Boots

Ay naku bet na bet ko ‘to! Makabili nga ng 5pairs in different colors! LOL

Aldo’s Miggins Boots

Giraffe lang ang peg! Pero bet ko din ‘to! Lahat na!

4. Non-sticky PAN

Our pan here in the house are so kopong- kopong already, but who am I to grouch? I know its not our own house nor our own kitchen, nakiki-gamit lang po ako. Hehe And I guess, I really need this one for my cooking experiment especially for my pasta dishes.

5. Wardrobe closet

Me and hubby are sharing in one cabinet, can you imagine that?! Actually most of the clothes in the cabinet are mine, some of the clothes are hang outside the room, so it just gather dust. We’ve planned to buy cabinet ever since we got married but the main problem is we don’t have enough space for a new cabinet. Now how in the world is that?! I don’t know but I do believe that we really need this.

I guess my Christmas wish list are achievable and doable naman, so Santa if you’re reading this post of mine please grant my wishes. Demanding lang ang peg noh?! Haha! No but seriously I really want to have all these things because it’s not only for myself but for my family also. And who knows maybe when Cyler is old enough (so that’s three-four years from now) will gonna buy our own house and I will add our dream house on my future Christmas wish list. So help us God. 🙂

How about you? Have you list down your Christmas wish list already? What is it? Share your thoughts with me, amiga’s! I’d love to hear from you! 🙂

Christmas is Just Around the Corner

Can you feel the Christmas breeze? It’s so hard to get up every morning because its too cold! I also hear some Christmas song in the radio, mall, train station, office, restaurants, public vehicles, I mean my goodness I hear it everywhere. Truly, Christmas is just around the corner. And it never fails to excite me about Christmas. It’s my most awaited season of the year and I bet I’m not the only one. Can’t wait to see the Ayala Triangle in December because they always surprise us with their irresistible Christmas lights presentation. I remember I took Cyler there last year and can’t wait to bring him there again this December. I’m so excited to celebrate the Christmas eve in my hometown and be with my friends and family. I am also looking forward to the Ricafort Family Reunion this year, I bet it will be so much fun because we’ve got the new member of the family- Cyler, his cousin Lucas and Brielle! More chikitings, more fun! Oh no, I need to start buying gifts for my family and friends! It makes me feel giddy! Uggghh.. Now I’m too excited for Christmas. 🙂

And due to so much excitement I made this! I used “Frame Your Life” app in editing this photo. This photo was taken last December. Cyler wore a lady bug costume here, it was a gift from his Ninang Katey. And I don’t know why he gave Cyler a “lady bug” costume and I don’t know either why I let him wore this. Silly Mommy and Ninang. But he looks so adorable in that costume though!

Since this post is all about Christmas, would like to share to y’all my all time favorite Christmas song: “Chestnuts” by Ariana Grande. Her version is really beautiful and her voice is.. O-M-G! It’s a must hear! I sweeaaar! You should listen to this!

This song never fails to brighten up my day, its indeed a wonderful song. Hope it brigthen up your Friday too!

Advance Merry Christmas! Spell ex-ci-ted?! S-H-A! 🙂

How about you? What makes you feel giddy about Christmas?

Do Not Leave Your Toddler Unattended

….for even short periods of time because you’ll never know what will happen next until..

…… these things happened.

Last night, while we we’re playing I turned my back for a few seconds then I came across with this little boy who kept on pulling the wipes one by one and can empty a packet in just 30 seconds.

Uhmmm, sweetheart… what do you think you’re doing? I think that’s your baby wipes…

Baby wipes, what happened to you? You should’ve save yourself from this toddler.

I tried to stop him from doing (but I know it was too late) this and this is what I had.. a crocodile tears from my dramatic toddler.

Now how can I react with this? Too cute to give punishment, right?!

And do you believe in the saying “Don’t judge the book by its cover”? I dont.. why?

This book looks good outside but when I opened it.. this is what I saw.

The Little Snorlax (Part 2)

Cyler is not a morning person and so his Mom and Dad. He normally wakes up at around 11am or sometimes 1pm, it’s a surprise when he wakes up at 8 in the morning. That’s the main reason why we’re always late on our monthly appointment with Doc Vienne. Hehe Anyhoo, cliché as this may sound but I’m one of the million moms who love to stare at my sleeping child until.. I got stiff neck. It may sound funny but it’s true though. It gives me peace of mind every time I look at my child while he’s sleeping. He is truly a heaven-sent from above and it feels like heaven when I’m with him. Now I understand my mom when she told me that the feeling is indescribable once you have your own child. And it’s true it feels so different– the joy, hard time, laughter, milestones, sleep deprivation are all essentials in motherhood but that’s what makes me a woman.

I love taking photos of my shaolin kid, Cyler while he’s sleeping because he has lots of (out-of-the-world) sleeping positions and he is tremendously malikot(Can I ask something?..what’s the english of malikot?Hehe). He literally goes upside down in the bed, and sometimes I used to wake up at the middle of the night because he accidentally kick my my head (or worst my face!). Now how in the world is that?! It may sound terrible but it’s funny! Hindi pwdeng gigising ako ng walang masakit sa muka at ulo ko. My gulay! There are times when he accidentally spank either me or his daddy because of his so much kalikutan. But we never fret (not unless magdugo na yung muka namin), we just love the fact that we are co-sleeping and we feel lucky about it. We’re lucky because our family is complete and we we’re able to tuck our son in bed every night. And I love the feeling of waking up in the morning next to my boys.

And here’s the funny thing, these past few weeks Cyler loves to say “yeeeaaah!” ( that’s his hip-hop way of saying yes) and he always say it as soon as he open his eyes in the morning (or afternoon). He say it most of the time and I lost count already. He is soo cute every time he says “Yeaaah!”, parang batang hiphop lang ang peg! LOL From then we gave him another alias– which is “Yeah boy”, sounds like “Jeboy” (his Daddy’s nickname). I guess I talk too much now, let’s move on to the most interesting part of this post, my little Snorlax different sleeping pose. Let the photos do the talking.. 🙂

Time at this moment was 12pm-ish. Can you see how he change his position from time to time?

It’s 12:15pm already and he’s still in LalaLand.. Kailangan talaga ang katawan nasa unan, ang ulo ang nasa baba?

Finally, at 12:30pm Mr. Snorlax woke up. As usual, muni-muni muna ang bagets.
