KMS Birthday Dinner at Movie Stars Cafe & Restaurant

20140424-225341

Β Last Tuesday, I celebrated my birthday at Movie Stars Cafe, Mall of Asia. It was sponsored by Mommy Blogger Philippines (Thanks a lot, Ms. Lani!) and Movie Stars Cafe so imagine how happy I was on my special day. I definitely had an extravagant and extra-ordinary birthday celebration here at Movie Stars Cafe. I did enjoy everything– from the superb food to the excellent service and to their one of a kind theme. They definitely have it all!

Movie Star Cafe

Once you enter the place you will be greeted with these awesome (and creepy!) movie characters!

My dinner date! πŸ™‚

The resto is also surrounded with four big screens & a hundred of monitors playing movies simultaneously.

Amazeballs! Spell nga-nga, anak? πŸ˜›

Cyler was SO amazed when we entered Movie Stars Cafe. He got overwhelmed with the movie characters and with cartoon movie’s (sa dami!) playing in the monitors. Sa sobrang daming monitor di na nya alam ano papanoorin nya. LOL!

Just imagine being surrounded by your favorite movie characters come alive & interacts as they entertain you and play their roles just like in a real movie while serving you with the best dining experience of your life! I literally felt like I was in a movie scene as the movie characters interacts with us.

Truly, Movie Star Cafe is not just your ordinary restaurant but a place to live up to your wild imagination where dreams become real. Of course, my boys enjoyed our entire dining experience too! Who would’ve love to see Spiderman and Iron Man in person?!

With Spider Man!

Daddy with Iron Man! Woot woot!

Of course papahuli ba si Mommy? LOL!

And look who’s so giddy to meet Spider Man in person?! With matching hi-five and fist bump pa si Cyler at Spidy after the photo-op. Antaray! Kilala mo ba yan, anak?! Hihi

(PS. Dew, bring Raviv here!)

He’s not so happy to meet Jayson though. Hahaha! Why, anak?! πŸ˜›

with Jayson the creepy…dinosaur?! Chos!

Cj kept on telling me that he must have a photo-op with Real Steel, big fan lang ang peg!

The original man of steel– Real Steel!

They also showcase first-class presentations and you can literally watch your favorite movie characters performing live on stage. Every 30 mins. the movie characters have a different presentation so it feels like you’re watching live movies. It was really fun and entertaining. πŸ™‚

IMG_0424You may also see signed pictures of celebrities around the world hanged on their wall. If you’re a big fan of movies then this is indeed a big hit for you! You can enjoy every bits of this resto, super sulit talaga. Plus I noticed that their staff are super kid-friendly too. You’ll see the crew/movie characters entertaining the kids while the parents/guardians are eating. It’s really hard to enjoy your food if you have a toddler/kids with you who can’t sit still so two-thumbs up for that!

Of course, aside from the non-stop entertainment you will also enjoy their superb food. The food ranges from Php350 and up but the servings areΒ  huge! Their ala carte is good for 2-3 persons already. And they also have what they called Dino-buffet. We didn’t avail the buffet simply because I don’t eat a lot (obvious naman sa height ko. LOL!), so sayang lang. That’s why we stick to ala carte but like what I’ve said their ala carte servings are good for 2-3 persons already so busog kapa rin.

I love the shrimps and their seafood pasta, it really goes well with the pizza. The pizza is super-kaduper cheesy (but its too oily) not to mention the huge servings. If I’m not mistaken we ordered the Angus pizza, it’s an 18 inches pizza. Ang laki diba tapos 2 lang kami kumain ni Cj. LOL! Don’t worry hindi namin naubos… muntik-muntikan lang. LOL! Btw, their food was named after movie titles.

The birthday girl (that’s meeee!) was super full and happy! I really had a blast and it was indeed a wonderful birthday gift to me (and my boys!).

  1. Oh wow! That’s really awesome. My eldest would be extremely thrilled to see the Real Steel robot. He’s obsessed with that lately. We’re planning to go there soon and I was wondering whether we should do the buffet or just order a la carte. Looks like either way, it’s worth it. Thanks for writing about that part. I eat a lot but for some reason, I lose my appetite on buffets. Lugi palagi! So A la Carte away na lang siguro. πŸ™‚

    • Same here, I used to get overwhelmed with buffet so madalas nasasayang lang that’s why we decided to order ala carte. Yes, super sulit ang servings! Naku your kids will surely go gaga over the movie characters! Naloka din ung toddler ko and my husband, super nag enjoy sila. Highly recommend tlga. πŸ™‚

    • It’s beside Hooters, as in magkatabi lang sila. Medyo dulo kasi malapit na sa Vikings. Try it, I’m pretty sure you will enjoy your dine here. And don’t forget to give the discount code so you can avail 10% off! πŸ™‚

    • I also thought that Cyler might get scared with the movie characters kasi takot sya sa Jollibee at Ronald mascot surprisingly he enjoyed it. As in tuwang tuwa sya every time ina-approach sya ng mga movie stars.
