Yellow guys! Habang sinisipag uli akong mag-blog gusto ko lang i-share what we did last weekend. Since hindi kami nakapag celebrate masyado on the day of our 4th wedding Anniversary (read story here), Cj and I decided to continue the celebration last Saturday. That day was filled with so much excitement, fun, and memorable memories though we weren’t able to go out of town just like what we usually do during our anniversary. We still considered that day special because we were complete as a family, I guess nothing in the world is more important than celebrating this special day with your loved ones, right? 🙂 Continue reading
Just a couple of weeks ago, we celebrated my sister and my cousin’s birthday in my hometown, Antipolo. Yep, it was a back-t0-back birthday celebration and it was double the fun and double the happy and crazy memories! Did I mention before that I have the craziest family ever?! If I haven’t well, I am telling you now that I have the silliest, funniest, and craziest family EVER! Wag na kayong magtaka kung bakit nagka-ganito din ako. WAHAHAHA! May kasabihan nga tayo…. “mana-mana lang yan!”. LOL! Continue reading
Hello girls and boys! I’m back balakubak! I super-kaduper-uber-mega miss you guys!!! Na-miss ninyo ba ako?! Raise your pwet! Charot! Thank God I feel a lot better than last week and the good news is…. the result of my urinalysis was negative so that’s something I need to celebrate, right?! I’m avoiding salty and junk foods na talaga. Promise totoo nato! At dahil dyan may kwento ako para sa inyo! LOL! Sabay segue noh?!
Last month, we attended a birthday party with Hello Kitty themed at Jollibee, Macapagal. I’m a big fan of this cartoon character when I was a small kid so this party definitely brought out the kid in me. It was a simple yet fun-filled birthday party and we did enjoy it most especially Cyler. I haven’t attended a Hello Kitty themed party in such a long time so medyo na-excite ako this time. Last week, we attended a Christening at Mckinley Hill Clubhouse, Taguig City. I was kinda (I mean totally!) impressed with their clubhouse interior. The venue is indeed perfect for any kind of gathering plus it’s centralized too so that’s a two thumbs-up for me. And I also love the fact that they have swimming pool and outdoor playground too for the kiddos and feeling kiddo (like me!). 🙂 Continue reading
Hello! Hello! Finally, here’s the 2nd part of Cyler’s birthday celebration at Nurture Wellness Village, Tagaytay. If you haven’t read the first part you can read it here. I’ve decided to take a break from blogging that’s why I put this blog on hiatus. I just need to focus more on my family and other important things in life but I never neglected this blog. But if you’re following me on instagram (it’s kikay_mommy_sha btw) I’m pretty sure you know what keep me busy. Anyway, going back to our topic we just had an overnight stay at Nurture but every seconds of our stay here was super worth it (and super nakakabitin!). So what did we do on our 2nd day?!
My family had the most relaxing, incredible, and amazing vacation at Nurture Wellness Village, Tagaytay last week. If I could only stop the clock and turn back time we will definitely stay there a little longer. But time didn’t allow us to do so, nevertheless we enjoyed every bit of our time together. I’m still grateful and happy that we were able to enjoy this short but meaningful family-trip. This trip is actually part of Cyler’s birthday celebration but this time we opted to have some family time. Just the three of us– Cj, Cyler, and me. And I must say we did have the most amazing time together. And I thank God for allowing us to enjoy and celebrate life to the fullest.
WARNING: This post is photo-heavy. Really. 🙂
Hello guys, as promise here’s the 2nd part of our recent company outing at Eagle Point, Anilao Batangas. I know it’s super-kaduper late already but I do hope that you still enjoy reading it. I have a lot of backlogs too that’s why I decided to write this post. If you haven’t read the first part of our trip you can read it here.
This post is actually a compilation of my uhmmm….. let’s just say photo-shoot(?). LOL! So alam ninyo na… umay levelz ‘to. HAHAHA! If you’re not interested you may close your browser now BUT if you want to give it a try simply….. Continue reading
Hi guys! I know you’re wondering why I’m MIA for the past four days… I was pretty busy but in a good way. This time it’s not about work, I’m too busy with my family. Cyler is feeling under the weather since last Sunday so I was busy taking good care of him too. I also take a leave at work today because of that but don’t worry God is in control. Cyler feels a lot better now. He’s so energetic and playful again parang walang sakit.
Anyhoo, just wanted to share this unforgettable trip I had few weeks ago. It was our company outing at Eagle Point, Anilao Batangas. This is the only time that I joined our company outing again after 2 years of not joining.Nope, it’s not because I’m KJ it’s because madalas natatapat ung outing namin sa birthday ni Cyler. So ayun 2 times akong hindi nakasama. In fairness, this beach is really nice though super-kaduper layo nya. I was literally scared-to-death going here because you really have to go thru cliff and mountains just to get here. In fact, there are only certain place for buses because they won’t fit in the road anymore. So we have to transfer in their shuttle (which is btw a jeepney). Our foreigner boss’ did enjoy the ride they said if feels like we’re riding a roller coaster (imagine?!). So while their having fun I’m dying deep inside of me. LOL! But it was all worth it, I tell ya. 🙂 Continue reading
Kevin is my youngest brother(that turned sister), he just finished his college degree (though it’s a vocational) last month so I thought of giving him a simple celebration. I’m not the eldest among our siblings but ever since I started working I also started supporting my sibling’s studies. Of course, as their sister I want them to have a better and brighter future. I want to secure their future in the best way I can. So even hirap sa buhay I tried to support their studies even now that I have my own family. It’s really self-fulfilling to see my siblings having a better life and no amount of money can ever beat that. Nothing compares than knowing that your loved ones are on the right track/path. Belated Happy Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, mom-to-be, mother figure, and single dads out there! So how did you celebrate this day? I celebrated mine with my family together with my in-laws. I went to Batangas last Saturday for our Company Outing but I went back in Manila last Sunday so I was able to celebrate this special day with my family though I was really dead-tired from our long trip. Anyway, this day is a special day for me and it was extra special because I celebrated it with my son, Cyler and husband, Cj… for without them I won’t become a mother, right?! Continue reading
I love baking and I’m a sucker for pastries and cakes that why I’ve always wanted to try Purple Oven. I’ve heard they have the best pastries in the metro. Thing is they only have few branches and it’s too far from our home. So last Saturday when we attended a Christening at Sacred Heart, Makati we were able to visit Purple Oven. We arrived too early at the church so while waiting we made tambay muna at Purple Oven.
Promise last na’to! Hihi
At dahil love na love ako ng mga boys ko, they treat me all the way on my birthday. Sky’s the limit level! Chos! Of course kung may birthday dinner (read KMS Birthday Dinner here) dapat may lunch din diba? LOL! Continue reading
As promise guys here’s the 2nd part of our wonderful staycation at Ace Hotel & Suites in Pasig (read 1st part here). If you’re an avid reader of this blog I’m pretty sure you know that we are not morning person…. surprisingly we all woke up before sunrise and we were able to capture this breath-taking view. Super nice noh? So can you imagine how early was that?! Dapat pala parati kaming mag-stay dito para maaga kaming nagigising noh? :p Continue reading
This is actually the 1st part (read the 2nd part here) of my birthday celebration. I had a pre-birthday celebration-slash-staycation at Ace Hotel & Suites last April 20. Yes, that was Easter Sunday. Its actually my birthday salubong, my real birthday kasi is April 21 and it just so happened that in my birth certificate it was set in April 22. Yeah, it’s a typo-error kind of issue, I only discovered that it was wrong when I entered high-school. Kalurks diba? Pero it’s okay kasi dalawa ang birth date(s) ko. O diba bonggels?!
I noticed that nowadays some people tend to forget the real essence of Easter Sunday. I’m no Saint neither a preacher but I just wanted to remind all of us that Easter is about celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Bear in mind that Jesus Christ sacrificed his own life just to save us from our sins so let us not forget the real meaning and purpose of Easter Sunday. It’s not about the Easter bunnies and candies that we used to get at Easter celebrations.
Before the Lenten month ends I just wanted to share our memorable Holy Week that my family spent at my hometown, Antipolo. It’s our family’s tradition to spend our Holy Week break in Antipolo, I bet most Filipinos do the same thing too. It feels good to share all my childhood memories (here in my hometown) with my son because this is the place where I grew up. Lahat ng kanto, lahat ng sulok ng lugar nato ay punong puno ng masasaya (at malungkot) na karanasan. Continue reading
Don’t we just love weekends?!
Finally guys, here’s the 2nd part of my previous post about our family reunion (read here) that happened three weeks ago at Lucena City. So going back on the topic…the committee also prepared a program during night-time. At 4ish the first part of the program was ended and it was the time for kids and the kids at heart to go swimming. As usual, my little bunny was so excited to dip in the pool! If you’re an avid reader of this blog I bet you know how Cyler loves the water, I swear he super-kaduper love every bits of it. He can even stay in the pool for more than 2hrs, wapakels if below zero lamig ng tubig. Continue reading
Last weekend, we attended the Ricafort family (on Cj’s side) reunion. The event was held at Nap and Rose Private Resort, Lucena. It was indeed a day filled with so much happy and unforgettable moments. I was pregnant with Cyler when they did the reunion 3 years ago, so technically it’s Cyler and my first time to attend this family event kaya naman I’m sooo excited about it. The location was really far but the 4hours travel was worth it, super-kaduper worth it.
