Cyler’s Spooktacular Halloween 2014!

I know it’s kinda late but I just wanted to share our memorable Trick or Treat experience this year. This could be the last year na mag-isa pa si  Cyler sa Trick or Treat or treat kasi next year dalawa na silang kasama namin. Eggciting right?! I’m actually really excited and a bit scared about it coz I don’t know if keri namin ni Cj pag dalawa na sila. LOL! I’m really happy kasi this time Cyler appreciates this event even more since he’s older na and he’s really into chocolates nowadays. And the best part about this year’s Halloween party?! Cyler chose his own costume! It’s not DIY coz we don’t have enough time to do it (excuses! excuses!) so I  bought the ready-made costume at Toy Kingdom. And the best thing about this costume?! Cyler really liked it so much kasi fave nya si Lightning Mcqueen. 🙂 Continue reading

First Movie Date with Cyler!

Ecstatic is an understatement when we had our first movie date with my son, Cyler. Finally, we had movie date together! YAY! Cj and I are actually more excited for Cyler. We watched How To Train Your Dragon 2 at Robinsons, Magnolia a couple of weeks ago and I’d say this movie didn’t disappoint. The scenes are perfect for Cyler because most of it are kid-friendly. Well except the part when Hiccup’s Dad died and they’re all sad and crying… because Cyler got emotional too. He got carried away with the scene that he also cried when he saw the characters crying. But it wasn’t the tantrums-level-cry so it was totally fine. He did know that we were about to watch movie but he didn’t know that we will watch it in the big screen. So he was completely amazed when he saw the big screen.  I was afraid that he might freak-out once we enter the movie house but thank goodness it didn’t happen. I can see on his eyes how mesmerized he was and the good thing was he watched attentively. So two thumbs-up for my brave little boy! I’ll consider that as a milestone. 🙂

That’s My Tambay!

Last week, I gave Cj a task and that task is to take a lot of photos of Cyler and his playmates while they’re playing outside the house because as I’ve said I wanted to document our son’s childhood memories. Yep, that includes his activity with his playmates, hindi kumpleto ang childhood memories if without your neighbor playmates, right?! And also para pag dumating yung time na nagtanong sya about his childhood at least I have something to share with him, diba? Minsan lang pati yan dadaan sa stage na yan kaya it’s better to document those moment. 🙂

Ang That’s My Tambay ng Caloocan City! LOL!

It’s All About Cyler

Cj and I were talking last night and we were talking about Cyler. We were discussing how much Cyler has grown and how his character change from the time that he was born. Cliché as it may sound, but time really flies so fast 6 months from now and he will turn 3. Imagine?! If you’re an avid reader of this blog I’m pretty sure you know very well my son. Before, I was just sharing all his “first”– his first walk, his first word, his first soft meal, even his first bike, etc etc. And now I can see how much he change– he is full of character. He got some of his antics from me and some from his dad. The old saying is true enough “Kung anong puno, siyang bunga”.

Cyler at 6 months old

It’s been a while since I shared something about Cyler, so today our topic is all about Cyler. Pag chikahan natin ang bagets habang borlogs pa siya. Teehee! Bad mommy! Continue reading

Breaking The Habit

As a mom, one of the biggest challenge that I am facing is weaning my son, Cyler from thumb-sucking. I remember back in the day when I first saw him I already knew that he love to thumb-suck. And I guess he got that habit from me because I used to thumb-suck too when I was a small kid. My mom had a hard time breaking that habit from me. I only stopped thumb-sucking when I was 6yrs old because at that time I’m already attending school. So andun na yung nahihiya nako so that’s the only time I completely weaned myself from thumb-sucking. But just imagine how long it has been before I completely weaned myself from that habit.

Cyler’s Spooktcular Halloween 2013

I know what you’re thinking! Such a long overdue post this is! Sorry naman, tao lang! 😛

Anyway, it’s okay coz it’s better to be late than never right? And remember!…daig ng maagap ang masipag?! Anong konek? Wala lang may masabi lang. LOL! Anyhoo, November is not yet over so pasok pa sa banga itech!  But seriously, I always look forward to Halloween parties because this is the only time where I can bring my son at work. I bet all working parents can relate to this. And it’s the only time wherein kids are allowed to create some noise in the office; you’ll hear the kids laughing, shouting, tantrum-ing, or even crying. Such a sweet sound to my ears but…. not to everyone else’s ears. LOL! And this is the time where you can see the kids in their cutest costumes! 🙂
